ADMINISTRATIVE
By-Laws/R&R Committee:
An email will be sent to the 3 shareholders and 2 board members to establish a meeting schedule.
Mandatory Fair Housing Training:
All board members have completed the Fair Housing Training except for Andy and Anjo. They are scheduled to take the course on July 24th.
NDA:
Although the NDA documents were signed in April, another copy was signed and will be sent to Bob Beck. Once received, the Residents of HM Facebook page will be administered by shareholder Carolyn Funke and Ursula Winter.
Website:
Dawn Marie Hilkin is updating the website using the SquareSpace website. The Adobe license is not needed and the subscription was canceled.
Newsletter:
Two (2) attempts, by email and distributed hard copy notice, asking for a shareholder to take over the HM Newsletter. Gail Antos volunteered to be the new editor. She will work with board member Andy Zeigler.
Suggestions from the shareholders present:
Can the Newsletter be quarterly?
Can announcements of new shareholders, and other landmark events be put in the newsletter. [Response: Not without the shareholders permission. Shareholders may request an event be announced.]
Community events and accolades (such as the Ossining HS Marching Band going to Hawaii, “Barbie” movie shown at Ossining library) be included in the newsletter
Names of vendors, businesses and snow removal helpers.
Have a local business section with discount coupons (such as Corsi Tire)
BUILDING ISSUES
Dumpsters for Spring Cleanout of Storage Rooms & Garages is Completed. It was suggested to rethink the logistics of the dumpsters. Also, how often dumpsters should be brought to the property.
Graffiti was found in the Laundry room of building 12. Camera will be checked to see if anything is revealed.
Visitors of Sheila Buitekant complimented the landscaping and she agrees that the property looks “lovely.”
Ms. Buitekant had an issue with her June charges. Her calls were not returned by anyone at Stillman. Jenna will look into this.
Suggestion to have a Block Party, possibly in September
Ophelia Hill is concerned about the tall shrubs along Geneva Road & South Highland Ave. Cars making a right turn from South Highland onto Geneva can’t see cars coming out of the Parking Lot D and vice-versa. The tall shrubs are creating a dangerous situation. [Jenna and Joe will talk to our Landscaper to discuss options]
Anjo suggested that board members walk / survey the property every so often.
Open Session Closed 7:54pm
NEXT BOARD MEETING – Budget Meeting, August 20th. This will be a closed session meeting.
